A free app designed to help you improve your health and wellbeing by setting and tracking your own goals, and sharing tips and tricks with people like you.
Step 1 | Download the app
You can find the app on your smart device through the Apple App Store or Google Play — just search “Best You” and install it for free. The app works alongside the best-you.org website, so you can sign in from either one and your progress stays up to date on both.
Step 2 | Sign in or register
Sign in with your Best You account details. If you don't have one yet, tap “create a new account” and follow the steps to set a password and personalise the app to you.
Check the inbox you signed up with for an activation email and tap the link inside — if you can't see it, take a look in your junk or spam folder. Once you're verified, log back in and you're ready to start tracking.
Step 3 | Select and start a journey
- Tap the theme you'd like to focus on and add a short note on what's motivating you.
- Add a few starting details, like your height, weight or activity levels.
- Complete a short questionnaire so the app can personalise your journey.
- Set your goal and any reminders to help keep you on track.
- Come back any time to log your progress against your goal.
You can customise your reminders at any time by tapping your avatar on the app's home screen, then “My Settings”.
Each journey unlocks new support and advice articles every week as you go.
Groups
Connect with others for extra support and motivation:
- Tap the group icon in the bottom right corner.
- Tap “find a group” to search by area or keyword.
- Tap “join now” and wait for your request to be accepted.
- Can't find one that fits? Create your own and invite others to join.
Get extra support by connecting with friends on Best You. Search for them by name or email and send a request — you'll be able to see everyone you're connected with in your friends list.
